ITINERARY

 

SUNDAY

Depart Leyland 0900 for the journey to Holyhead and our ferry crossing to Dublin. Proceed to Carlow for our overnight stay at the 4 Star Talbot Hotel Stillorgan to arrive in time for evening dinner

 

MONDAY 

We continue our journey across Ireland to our hotel in Bantry, our base for the next 4 nights

 

TUESDAY to THURSDAY

• At leisure in Bantry with the Following excursions

• Full day excursion to the gorgeous scenery of the Beara Peninsula which is steeped in myth and legend. From colourful Kenmare the coastal road passes fishing villages and secluded sandy bays. Take the ferry crossing to Garinish Island to find its romantic Italianate Garden (ferry & admission included)

• Full day excursion. We take the pretty drive down to the Signal Station at Mizen Head (admission included) and try to spot Fastnet Rock, ‘Ireland’s teardrop’, off the coast. Returning via Skibbereen and Clonakilty

 

FRIDAY

After breakfast we leave the hotel for the journey to Carlow for our overnight stay at the

4 Star Seven Oaks Hotel to arrive in time for evening dinner

 

SATURDAY

Depart after breakfast travel into Dublin for a morning later travel to Dublin port for the

14-50 Stena line service to Holyhead on arrival continue to Leyland
