It’s known for its beaches and seafront promenades such as sandy Shanklin Beach and south-facing Ventnor Beach, which is dotted with vintage beach huts. Dinosaur remains and fossils can be seen in areas like Compton Bay and Yaverland Beach. On the island’s western point, The Needles are 3 huge, white chalk rocks, guarded by a 19th-century lighthouse, a place you need to see.

 

ITINERARY

 

MONDAY

Depart Leyland at 08:00 for the journey to Southampton and ferry crossing to the Isle of Wight, arriving at our hotel in Bembridge in time for dinner.

 

TUESDAY to THURSDAY

At leisure in Bembridge with the following included excursions :-

South Island Tour: A tour following the coast road around the south of the Island. There are so many wonderful views en-route as we pass places like Shanklin (break), Ventor, Blackgang Chime and Freshwater Bay before arriving in Yarmouth, with its delightful harbour and marina.to and the lovely village of Godshill, thought by many to be the prettiest on the island.

Excursion to Whippingham Church, designed by Prince Albert, before continuing to Osbourne House, Queen Victoria’s seaside resort

 

FRIDAY

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland.
