Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09:00hrs for our journey to Huntingdon with a lunch stop at the beautiful, tranquil National Memorial Arboretum with time to explore and obtain lunch, depart at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Monday
A visit to the vibrant heritage attraction at Bletchley Park, once the top-secret home of Britain's World War II Codebreakers, including one of its most well-known, Alan Turing. Step back in time and discover their incredible achievements in the place where it happened. N.B today includes indoor and outdoor attractions, suitable clothing and footwear should be worn, includes complimentary use of a multimedia guide.
Tuesday
Following breakfast visit the medieval market town of St Ives complete with splendid 15th century bridge and chapel over the river, one of only three such surviving in England, allowing time to explore before re-joining the coach at 12.00hrs, continue our journey to visit the ancient city of Ely, a tiny but beautiful Cambridgeshire city, with free time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps visit the impressive Cathedral or Oliver Cromwell's House, wander ancient streets or take a riverside stroll, with lovely cafes and pubs, whatever you decide to do this quintessential English gem won't disappoint.
Wednesday
A day in Cambridge, where a guide will join the coach to give us a tour of this beautiful University city, followed by free time to explore and obtain lunch, re-join the coach at 16.00hrs to return to the hotel.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop at RAF Cosford, home to the oldest Spitfire in the world, with time to explore and obtain lunch, depart at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
