Nestled within 190 acres of woodland, the Forest Pines is a great place to unwind and relax. Enjoy free time in the resort to explore the grounds and use the leisure facilities. During our stay we head across the Humber Bridge to explore historic Beverley and visit the historic cathedral, city of Lincoln.

Itinerary:
Thursday
Depart Leyland at 10.30hrs for our journey to the Forest Pines Hotel with a lunch stop at Batley Mill Shopping Outlet en-route, depart at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. Arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee and mince pies while your case is taken to your room.
Friday (Christmas Eve)
Today we enjoy a leisurely breakfast before joining the coach at 10.00hrs, our excursion today takes us across the Humber Bridge to beautiful Beverely. Christmas Eve in Beverley is atmospheric and traditional, perhaps visit the Minster or historic St Mary's Church, wander ancient streets lined with Christmas lights and festive window displays, when hunger strikes have lunch in one of the towns local historic pubs or cosy cafes and pick up some festive goodies to enjoy back at the hotel with a Christmas movie. Depart at 13.30hrs, return to the hotel for tea/coffee and mince pies in the lounge at 15.00hrs, board games are available from reception. Following tonight's evening meal enjoy a magician performing in the lounge. There will be an opportunity to attend midnight mass this evening, details can be found at Reception for churches and taxi services (cost not included in your holiday). Tea/coffee and mince pies will be available upon return from Midnight Mass.
Saturday (Christmas Day)
Merry Christmas to all our Avatravellers and our wonderful driver. Today is a relaxed affair starting with a hearty breakfast and time to relax and open presents and perhaps take a stroll in the beautiful grounds. A Traditional Christmas Lunch will be served in the Grill followed by the Kings Speech with tea/coffee and Christmas cake in the Lounge at 15.00hrs. Dinner this evening will be buffet style followed by a Christmas Quiz in the Lounge.
Sunday (Boxing Day)
This morning following a relaxed start we head to Lincoln where you will have time to explore, perhaps visit the Cathedral and obtain lunch in one of the Pubs, cafes, and restaurants in the Cathedral Quarter, High Street, and Cornhill. Please note not all shops will be open and those that are open will have Sunday trading restrictions and reduced Boxing Day hours. Re-join the coach at 14.00hrs, back at the hotel tea/coffee and mince pies will be served at 15.00hrs there will also be Bingo in the lounge. This evening's dinner in the Grill will be followed by a DJ and Disco until 23.00hrs.
Monday (Bank Holiday)
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
