Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08:00am for our journey north to Cairnryan in Scotland to board the Stena Line ferry to Belfast. On arrival in Belfast, re-join the coach as we travel to our overnight hotel in Newtownards arriving in time for our evening meal, arrive to a warm Irish welcome while your case is taken to your room.
N.B - Passengers may wish to take an overnight bag for tonight's stay, please ensure that you take medication and valuables with you as your main case will stay on the coach.
Monday
Check out of our overnight hotel following a leisurely breakfast to continue our journey eastwards to Co. Donegal with a stop in Enniskillen, Ireland's only island town. Over 400 years old Enniskillen is filled with history, culture and vibrant local life, allowing time to explore and obtain lunch before heading to the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran, our base for the next four nights. Arrive to a warm Donegal welcome with tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today we have a guided tour of the breath-taking, majestic Slieve League Cliffs offering incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, experience the magic of Irelands highest sea cliffs while hearing about local history, with return shuttle bus to and from the cliffs. In the afternoon visit Glencolmcille Folk Village, a wonderful living museum in a breath-taking location, an initiative of a Donegal Priest, Father James McDyer to help with unemployment, the museum is still a much-loved community concern.
Wednesday
This morning, we enjoy a 75minute cruise of Donegal Bay around the seven Green Islands with many points of interest along the way, enjoy the entertaining commentary and you may even get a sing-a-long, with free time afterwards in Donegal Town to obtain some lunch, this afternoon we visit Belleek Pottery with guided tour to hear of the story of its many products made over a 165-year history.
Thursday
Today we have a day of leisure to enjoy the area, relax and enjoy the hotels leisure facilities.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, head to Belfast for a little free time before we board the afternoon ferry back to Cairnryan in Scotland to continue our journey home.
