A key location in the novel and film The da Vinci Code, the beautiful chapel in rural Midlothian has inspired and intrigued writers and visitors since it was founded in 1446. Enjoy a day in the Scottish capital, Edinburgh, home to world-class museums and heritage sites, wonderful shopping opportunities and a great foodie scene. Monday
Depart Leyland at 10:00am for our journey north to Biggar, in the Scottish Borders with a suitable lunch stop en-route, arrive at the Tinto to welcome tea/coffee and shortbread.
Tuesday - Thursday
Free time in the resort with the following excursions:
Half day visit to Rosslyn Chapel in rural Midlothian.
Half day visit to Dumfries House with tea/coffee and shortbread included.
Full day visit to Edinburgh to enjoy free time in the Scottish capital.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.

N.B There is no lift at this hotel, upper floors are accessible by stairs only. Some ground floor accommodation is available on request only and cannot be guaranteed unless requested and confirmed through Ava Travel. No porterage, hotel have advised they can assist with some bags if needed. |
