Frameless, Lift 109 & The National Gallery

Itinerary:

Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to London with comfort stops along the way aiming for an early check-in at the 4* Holiday Inn, Kensington at 15.00hrs, from check-in you have free time to enjoy Kensington and the city before retiring for the evening. Perhaps visit the magnificent V&A Museum in Kensington which closes at 22.00hrs on a Friday evening. The nearby Kensington Arcade (less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel) closes at 21.30hrs offering a selection of retail and food establishments, you can also board the tube at High Street Kensington Station which is within the arcade to take journeys on the District and Circle lines (Zone 1 Heart of London), both these lines take you to stations in Central London with return tubes running until just after midnight (please check underground timetables for specific journeys), there are also buses that service Kensington High Street.

Saturday
This morning following breakfast we visit the FRAMELESS Exhibition, London's most talked about, award-winning immersive art experience showcasing iconic works and masterpieces from renowned artists in a whole new way, reimagined through 360-degree visuals and dynamic soundscapes across four stunning immersive galleries. FRAMELESS is an unforgettable sensory experience for all ages. In the afternoon we continue onward and upwards with constellations of light guiding our way as the circular glass elevator we travel in makes its exciting ascent up the north-west chimney from Battersea Power Station's magnificent Art Deco Turbine Hall A. At the top, 109 meters up take in a panoramic view like no other. Truly a day to remember. If you wish to stay around trendy Battersea for the evening just 4 miles from the hotel and make your own way back, please let your driver know.

Sunday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading home we head towards Trafalgar Square to visit the National Gallery, view must see paintings from Leonardo da Vinci to Van Gogh, perhaps visit the onsite shop or eat in the cafes, bars and restaurants within the National Gallery. If you wish to explore the Trafalgar Square area that's fine too, we will be departing at 14.00hrs for our return journey home.
