Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey north to the Highlands with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Monday
Scotland is well known for its legends, so today we have included a chance to go Nessie hunting on a Loch Ness cruise with a visit to Inverness, the cultural capital of the Scottish Highlands. Perhaps visit its 19th century Cathedral, or stroll along the banks of River Ness and browse the indoor Victorian Market.
Tuesday
Today's excursion takes us to Dalwhinnie Distillery, the highest distillery in Scotland at 1164 feet above sea level, enjoy a tour and tasting and discover the essence of this unique location and it Dalwhinnie Distillery s iconic single malt. Today also enjoys free time in our host town Kingussie.
Wednesday
Today we have a long but worthwhile day, our excursion takes us on a wonderful journey on the UK's only mountain gondola. The Nevis Range Mountain Gondola reaches the heights of 650m, built on the north face of Aonach Mor, the 8th highest mountain in Britain. Enjoy the scenic ride and absorb the stunning mountain views as you take in the clean mountain air. Followed by visits to Fort William where you'll have time to obtain lunch and the Glencoe Visitor Centre before returning to the hotel.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
