Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Belton Woods near Grantham with a lunch stop in Ashbourne, Derbyshire en-route. Ashbourne known as the "Gateway to Dovedale and the Peak District" features fine Georgian architecture and independent shops, with traditional inns and cosy cafes clustered around the historic market square. Depart at 13.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Monday - Wednesday
Leisure time at the hotel with the following excursions:
Morning visit and guided tour of International Bomber Command, Lincoln followed by free time in Lincoln with time to explore and obtain lunch.
Morning of leisure at the hotel with time to explore the grounds and perhaps take a dip in the pool. Join the coach at 12noon for an excursion to Stamford allowing time to explore and obtain lunch, re-join the coach at 16.30hrs for our journey back to the hotel.
Today's excursion takes us to Peterborough to take a ground floor guided highlights tour of the Norman Cathedral followed by free time to explore Peterborough and obtain lunch before returning to the hotel to enjoy time to relax before our evening meal.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a lunch stop at Trentham Shopping Village, departing at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
