Sunday
Depart Leyland at 11.00hrs for our journey to Holyhead to board the mid-afternoon ferry to Dublin, disembark and re-join the coach to continue our journey to our overnight hotel in Dun Loaghaire on the outskirts of Dublin where we will arrive in time to freshen up before our evening meal. N.B as this is an overnight hotel there is no porterage therefore you may prefer to take an overnight bag; please ensure you have all your essentials for the overnight stay including medication as due to driver hours legislation access to the coach once we have check in will be strictly prohibited.
Monday
Enjoy a hearty breakfast before checking out of our overnight hotel and travelling South West to Killarney, en-route visit Newbridge Silverware with its Style Icons Museum, following our visit continue our journey to Co. Clare to make a stop in Killaloe, a beautiful setting on the River Shannon with time to explore and obtain lunch, departing at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the Parkavon Hotel in Killarney. Arrive to a warm Irish welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today enjoys an excursion around the famous 'Ring of Kerry' with a knowledgeable guide. Travel via Killorglin occupying a scenic position overlooking the River Laune and overlooked by the dramatic landscape of the MacGillycuddy's Reeks, finishing at the colourful village of Kenmare the quaint, colourful town situated on the Wild Atlantic Way, enjoy wonderful stops along the way including a stop allowing time for lunch. Experience the captivating beauty and breathtaking scenery that defines this unmissable area of Ireland on this memorable day out.
Wednesday - Coach Drivers rest day
Enjoy a morning of leisure in Killarney. This afternoon we take a wonderful traditional jaunting car journey to visit Muckross House and Gardens, the jewel of Killarney National Park. Muckross House and Gardens are a must-see premier attraction known throughout the world for their scenic beauty and magnificent house, a focal point in the centre of Killarney National Park. We also explore the breath-taking beauty of Killarney Lakes from the comfort of a glass covered lake cruiser.
Thursday
This morning, we travel to the ancient settlement and charming fishing port of Dingle Town, peacefully nestled between mountains and the sea, from here we take a scenic harbour bay boat trip, followed by free time to explore the harbourfront with colourful buildings and vibrant streets containing wonderful eating and drinking establishments, interesting shops and galleries allowing time to obtain lunch before continuing our journey onto the rugged and windswept Dingle Peninsula whose western tip is the most westerly point in the whole of Ireland. Take in the striking and varied scenery of this beautiful area including Dingle Lighthouse.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid farewell to our hosts and Killarney, begin our return journey to the Rochestown Lodge Hotel in Dun Loaghaire for an overnight stay with a lunch stop in the historic town of Cashel in Co. Tipperary en-route. Depart Cashel at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arriving with time to freshen up and relax before our evening meal. N.B as this is an overnight hotel there is no porterage therefore you may prefer to take an overnight bag; please ensure you have all your essentials for the overnight stay including medication as due to driver hours legislation access to the coach once we have check in will be strictly prohibited.
Saturday
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast, head to Dublin Port to board the ferry back to Holyhead, disembark and re-join the coach to continue our journey home with suitable meal stops along the way.
