ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is not currently operational. Introduction has been delayed and now looking to be operational during the 2nd quarter of 2025 (looking like May 2025), the only travel documents customers need if they are travelling to the EU before this time will be valid passport not more than 10 years old with at least 3 months remaining on the return date.
Cost of the ETIAS will be 7 euros and can be done online, customers will need an email address, there passport and a debit credit card to hand when they make their application, please allow at least 96 hrs before date of travel to apply, the ETIAS is valid for 3 years or until the passport renews whichever comes first.
For customers who are local Ava Travel will be able to assist and complete the ETIAS registration face to face, the cost will be £16.00 which will include the ETIAS registration and cover staff and admin costs.

Itinerary
Wednesday
Depart Leyland at 14.00hrs for our journey to Hull to board the evening P&O crossing to Rotterdam. Enjoy and evening meal before retiring to your cabin for the evening ready to wake up refreshed in Rotterdam.
N.B (We suggest taking an overnight bag with essentials and medication that you will need to your crossing and overnight hotel in Strasbourg, access to the coach during the crossing is strictly prohibited).
Thursday
Enjoy breakfast en-board the ferry, disembark and re-join the coach as we continue our journey to our overnight hotel in Strasbourg with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Friday
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast, continue our journey into Italy taking in the magnificent views along the way with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Hotel Paganella to a warm Italian welcome with glass of Prosecco or non-alcoholic drink while your bags are taken to your room. This evening, we enjoy a 4-course set menu with unlimited wine and water with dinner.
Saturday
Today following breakfast we have a free day in Fai della Paganella, Fausto will play the wonderful host and take us out for a gentle walk around this friendly village. We enjoy a picnic with great company, food and wine, and start to unwind and get into the relaxed way of Paganella life in the mountains.
Sunday
Today's excursion takes us to one of Italy's best kept secrets, stunning Merano. In true 'Sound of Music' fashion, this beautiful spa town sits nestled between the Dolomites. The town centre is lined with shops aplenty, restaurants and cosy cafes oozing with delicious strudel. For a bird's eye view take the chairlift up to the panoramic viewpoint. Try mouthwatering 'speck' in a local 'Stube' or try delicious 'sachertorte' in one of the pastry shops. In the afternoon, we head to the historic winery of Kettmeir, nestled among the vineyards of the Alto Adige where we enjoy a tour and tasting of some wonderful, top-quality wines - the South Tyrolean wines are so good they don't export much as they prefer to keep them for themselves!
Monday
Today's excursion takes us on a scenic drive of the Dolomites, driving north toward Moena at their very heart, ascending towards the vibrant town of Canazei. From here take the short drive to the Sella Pass, an incredible viewing platform, from where we can obtain lunch and appreciate the amazing 360-degree views across the Dolomites' spectacular jagged peaks. Continue down into the alluring Val Gardena, a historic valley known for its wood making traditions and unique and ancient language, Ladin, which is only spoken here. Take a break in the picturesque village of Ortisei, perhaps relax over a delicious plate of strudel or shop for a handmade cuckoo clock!
Tuesday
This morning, our excursion takes us past the lesser known but incredibly scenic lake Molveno, from here enjoy the relaxing route that takes us through to the back of Lake Garda. Here we visit Riva del Garda, offering a lakeside, historic centre, and the most northerly point in Europe where olive trees grow. Take free time to explore and perhaps enjoy a delicious lunch or drink in the main square. Head back to the hotel mid-afternoon to relax.
Wednesday
Following breakfast bid a fond farewell to our wonderful Italian hosts, the sun-soaked South Tyrol, and the mighty Dolomites as we begin our scenic return journey to our overnight hotel in Strasbourg, with a suitable lunch stop en-route. This evening at the hotel we enjoy a set 3-course dinner.
N.B (We suggest taking an overnight bag with essentials and medication that you will need at your overnight hotel in Strasbourg, and tomorrow's ferry crossing as access to the coach during the crossing is strictly prohibited).
Thursday
Check out of our overnight hotel following a leisurely breakfast, travel to the ferry port in Rotterdam to board the evening overnight ferry back to Hull in the UK, enjoy an evening meal onboard before retiring to your cabin.
N.B don't forget your overnight bag with essentials and medication for the crossing as access to the coach once boarded is strictly prohibited.
Friday
Following breakfast onboard, disembark and re-join the coach as we continue our journey from Hull to home.
