We travel to Scone Palace, once the crowning place of the Kings of Scotland. Guided tour of this beautiful building, regarded as a national treasure and revered as the historic jewel in the crown of Scotland.
We begin our day with a scenic loch drive along beautiful Loch Earn as we enter into the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. Arrive at Loch Katrine and embark on a cruise on the The Sir Walter Scott Steam Ship for an awe-inspiring journey on the loch. Lunch stop in Callander, a bustling tourist town situated on the River Teith, near Stirling, which is often described as the gateway to the Highlands.
THURSDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the short journey to Falkirk for a ride on the Falkirk Wheel, the worldûs only rotating boatlift, used to connect the Forth & Clyde & Union canals in central Scotland, the 50-minute journey lifts the boat up to join the Union Canal 35 metres above and allows the boat to sail smoothly from The Falkirk Wheel onto the Union Canal. Later continue our return journey to Leyland.
