A delightful five day break centred around the very heart of Britain's heritage, Royal Windsor. Windsor Castle, home to the Kings and Queens of England for the past 900 years, is still the largest inhabited castle in the world. We also include visits to Winchester. We also visit Kew Botanical Gardens, housing the "largest and most diverse botanical collection in the world", for their annual Orchid Festival.
ITINERARY
THURSDAY
Depart Leyland at 10:00 for the journey to Basingstoke.
FRIDAY
Full day excursion to Royal Windsor a beautiful, unique and historic destination for a perfect day out.
SATURDAY
Full day excursion to Winchester, the county town of Hampshire.
SUNDAY
Today we visit Kew Gardens and their annual Orchid Festival.
MONDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland.
