Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Abergele with a lunch stop in Chester en-route, depart Chester at 15.00hrs to continue our journey to the Kinmel and Kinspa Hotel, our Welsh home for the next 4 nights, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Following breakfast make our way west to beautiful Bodnant Gardens. Located in the Conwy Valley this Grade 1 listed garden is a horticultural gem, home to botanical collections from around the globe. In the afternoon make the short journey north to the seaside resort of Llandudno, the rest of the day is free to explore at leisure, perhaps take a stroll along the wide promenade to enjoy the magnificent views and sea air or enjoy some retail therapy in the main shopping street which runs parallel with the sea front.
Wednesday
This morning our excursion takes us along the coast to Anglesey making a stop at Llanfairpwllgwyngyll, home to the famous James Pringle complex at Lanfair PG. Following our visit travel to the stunning yachting resort of Beaumaris where you are free to enjoy the wonderful views and explore at leisure. Following time for lunch return to the hotel to relax and enjoy the facilities.
Thursday
Today we travel west along the coastline to the Royal town of Caernarfon, guarded by its mighty castle with time to explore the town and obtain lunch. This afternoon takes us to the slopes of the Nantlle Valley in Snowdonia to Pant Du Vineyard and Orchard where we will meet our guide, take a tour of the vineyard and orchard with the chance to sample some of their wonderful produce. This wonderful location enjoys the spectacular views that Snowdonia has to offer with breathtaking view of Snowdon and surrounding mountains as well as stunning views of the sea across Caernarfon Bay. Following our visit enjoy a scenic drive through the Snowdonia National Park where we make a stop in the idyllic village of Betws-y-Coed for free time before returning to the hotel.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before we head home, we make a stop in Llanberis to take a journey like no other on the breathtaking Snowdon Mountain Railway, experience awe-inspiring views and uncover the mountains hidden secrets as you make your way to the Summit of Mount Snowdon (weather permitting). Following our return journey down the mountain re-join the coach to continue home via Ruthin through the Clwydian Range and Dee Valley Landscape.
