Southsea our base for this delightful 7 day break is situated at the southern end of Portsmouth and together they offer an interesting mix of history, city and holiday resort. ITINERARY
SUNDAY Depart Leyland at 0900 for the journey to Southsea.
MONDAY to FRIDAY At leisure in Southsea with the following included excursions:
Full day excursion. Our journey takes us to historic Chichester, cosy and compact with its Roman Walls and magnificent cathedral, Chichester is a delight to explore. After lunch we will be joined by a local guide when we visit Bosham, one of the most historic villages in Britain and also one of the prettiest.
Full day excursion. Winchester first this morning we visit the little town of Hamble before continuing to Historic City of Winchester Later return to our hotel for dinner.
Full day tour to the Isle of Wight. Travelling to Portsmouth we join the ferry and sail across the Solent to Fishbourne for a tour of the island.
SATURDAY Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland
