Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to the outskirts of Norwich with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Thursday - Saturday

Today's excursion takes us to beautiful Holkham Hall to delve into 400 years of history, discover collections, marvel at the beauty of historic state rooms as you step into Thomas Coke's vision of an Italian villa on the North Norfolk coast; a haven to display the treasures and trophies amassed whilst on his 18th century Grand Tour of Europe. Outside is equally as grand, explore and get lost in the tranquillity as you visit the newly renovated Samuel Wyatt Vinery, before stepping through the perfect Venetian gates to discover what lies within the sun trapped walls of the enchanting walled garden dating back to the late 1700s complete with stunning glass houses. Perhaps take to the water on the 1-mile-long lake or walk through the park grounds keeping an eye out for resident Fallow Deer, pheasants, and wildflower meadows.
Sit back, relax and take a journey through Norfolk's most stunning coastal scenery between sea and pine on the North Norfolk Railway's Poppy Line from the smart Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham to the picturesque Georgian town of Holt with free time to explore both towns.
Morning visit to Norwich with time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps visit the castle or cathedral, see if you can find Norwich's hidden gem The Plantation Garden or visit Norwich Market on Gentleman's Walk, one of the oldest and largest outdoor markets in the country. You won't go hungry in Norwich with a great array of dining options to choose from many serving locally grown produce. Depart Norwich at 14.00hrs to return to the hotel to enjoy free time to relax and enjoy the leisure facilities
