Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00 hrs for our journey to our 4-star hotel on the edge of the picturesque Cotswolds with a lunch stop in the cathedral city of Worcester en-route. Depart Worcester at 14.30hrs to continue our journey to the Cheltenham Chase Hotel, arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room.
Monday
Following a leisurely breakfast todays excursion takes us to the banks of the River Avon to the picturesque medieval market town of Evesham with time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps visit the Almonry Museum in the Heritage Quarter alongside the award winning Abbey Park, marvel at the Bell Tower nestled between two medieval churches, take a pit stop on Market Square to visit one of the many cafes before an afternoon visit to Cotswold Farm Park, home to farmer and rural TV presenter Adam Henson.
Tuesday
Following a leisurely breakfast join us for a visit to the Regency spa town of Cheltenham with a meet and greet before time to explore and obtain lunch. Not to be missed is The Wilson, Gloucestershire's premier museum and art gallery exhibiting an internationally important Arts and Crafts collection. Cheltenham offers a fantastic café culture, many with outdoor seating areas and award-winning, stylish shopping opportunities. In the afternoon head to Cheltenham Racecourse Station where we board a train to Broadway 'The Jewel of the Cotswold's', journey through spectacular Cotswold scenery with views of sleepy hamlets and villages and across the Malvern Hills and beyond, enjoy a little free time in Broadway before returning to the hotel.
Wednesday
Following breakfast this morning's excursion takes us on a scenic journey through the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds with visits to two of the picturesque towns and villages of this wonderful Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty , our first stop is in Burford the medieval town popular with tourists for its famous High Street that sweeps downhill to the River Windrush, its beauty, history, antique shopping opportunities and foodie scene make this town a little bit special and Stow-on-the-Wold the highest of the Cotswold towns located on the Roman Fosse Way with impressive Market Square complete with medieval stocks and market cross, visit independent shops, cosy cafes and inns all built of wonderful, local stone with time to explore and obtain lunch before heading to the sleepy North Cotswold hamlet of Hidcote Bartrim for a visit to Hidcote historic garden.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum with time to explore and obtain lunch, re-join the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
