This tour covers a variety of visitor attractions in Kent, some of which remain unknown to the many who visit the “Garden of England”. As well as these highlights we will also see the picturesque countryside of Kent .
ITINERARY
MONDAY
Depart Leyland at 1000 for the journey to Ashford.
TUESDAY to THURSDAY
At leisure in Ashford with the following included excursions:

Full day to Royal Tunbridge Wells, an elegant town. After lunch visit Hever Castle, a romantic 13th century moated castle with wonderful gardens (admission included). Full day excursion to Canterbury.

Full day excursion to Chartwell and Rochester. Chartwell House was the home of Sir Winston Churchill for most of his adult life. The house is now a museum and the rooms, studios and gardens remain as a visual tribute to this great man. Later travel to Rochester for an afternoon visit.
FRIDAY
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey to Leyland.
