Stretching from the Humber to the Wash on the east side of England, Lincolnshire is an immense county of varying landscapes. The past and present are never far apart and there are many attractions and places of interest.

 

MONDAY

Depart Leyland at 1000 for the journey to Belton

 

TUESDAY to THURSDAY

At leisure in Belton with the following included excursions:

 

Full day visit to Lincoln with its triple towered Cathedral and Norman Castle. After lunch return to Belton House for a visit (admission included). Considered by many to be the perfect English Country House with stunning interiors, fine silver and furniture collections

 

Full day tour. Firstly, we travel to the market town of Boston, famous for its connections with the Pilgrim Fathers and its 'Stump'. After lunch we continue to Grimsthorpe Castle, a magnificent Tudor house set in parkland landscaped by Capability Brown (admission included).

 

Morning visit to the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight Visitor Centre at RAF Coningsby, for a guided tour. After lunch return to Belton House for a visit (admission included).
