Itinerary:

Monday
Depart Leyland at 09:00am for our journey to Stirling with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm Scottish welcome and a while your cases are taken to your room.

Tuesday
Today's excursion takes us to Leith on the outskirts of the capital to step aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia, follow in the footsteps of royalty to discover the heart and soul of this most special of royal residence that sailed over 1,000,000 nautical miles on 968 state visits with the Royal family. We also visit the Palace of Holyrood in Scotland's capital which sits against the magnificent backdrop of King Arthurs Seat, once the home of Mary Queen of Scots.

Wednesday
Today we enjoy free time in our host town Stirling with an included visit to Stirling Castle, a great symbol of Scottish independence and a source of national pride. Step inside and discover its turbulent past associated with great figures such as William Wallace and Mary Queen of Scots with free time to explore Stirling.

Thursday
Morning free in Stirling allowing time to explore and obtain lunch. In the afternoon join us as we cross the River Forth by road to visit Culross, step into the past along the cobbled streets of this picturesque village that has its own ochre coloured palace. Once a thriving port, wandering around this historic gem with whitewashed, red-tiled buildings is as close to walking in the 16th century that you will get. A must for all Outlander fans as the streets of Culross have appeared many times in the TV series.

Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
