The Isle of Wight is a wonderful island haven with resorts that have been holiday destinations since Victorian times. Famous for its mild climate, coastal scenery, beaches, beautiful landscapes and pretty villages the Isle of Wight has a lot to offer as you will see on the Island tour. Discover idyllic views from the window of a beautifully restored vintage carriage as we step back to the era of steam power on a journey through quintessential rural stations. The Isle of Wight has a rich history with donkeys; on our tour we couldn’t resist travelling into the Wroxall Valley to meet some of its cutest residents. Tour also includes a visit to Quarr Abbey Monastery.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 07:30AM for our journey to the Isle of Wight, after catching the ferry to Yarmouth Isle of Wight, it's a short journey to Norton Grange with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday
Today we enjoy a tour of the island with stops at Alum Bay, the picturesque village of Godshill, Shanklin and Ryde return to Norton Grange via Cowes - with short stops along the way for photo opportunities. Return to Norton Grange early mid-afternoon with time to relax and enjoy the facilities of Norton grange.
Following a leisurely breakfast, we enjoy a visit to the Donkey Sanctuary to meet some of the islands friendliest residents and discover the great work the charity does, perhaps enjoy the views over the Wroxhall Valley from the café or wildlife meadow followed by a visit to Quarr Abbey, home to a community of Benedictine Monks, wander beautiful gardens and perhaps pop into the café to enjoy freshly prepared treats.
Today we visit Newport, the islands capital with time to explore and obtain lunch before taking a nostalgic journey on the Isle of Wight Steam Railway with guided tour of Havenstreet Station.
Friday
Check out of Norton Grange following breakfast for our ferry crossing from the island and our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
