Itinerary
Tuesday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to the Holiday Inn Express Slough with a lunch stop in Royal Leamington Spa en-route, depart at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. This evening enjoys an evening meal at the hotel.
Wednesday
Board the coach at 09.00hrs as we head to Westminster, spend a little free time exploring this wonderful area, with Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, Churchill's War Rooms, The Guards Museum and River Thames all within a 10-minute walk from the Abbey there is plenty to see. Just before noon meet outside Westminster Abbey where we will have a guided tour with our knowledgeable Blue Badge Guide. Mid-afternoon enjoys an afternoon tea in Westminster Abbeys Cellarium Café, enjoy a selection of scrumptious savouries, handmade scones with clotted cream and jam plus an assortment of handmade cakes, tea or coffee before returning to our hotel.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to head back into the capital. Before travelling home visit the Tower of London with admission at 10.00hrs, spend a few wonderful hours exploring and discovering the Towers secrets. Re-join the coach and depart from the Tower of London at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
