Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to the 4-star Holiday Inn, Bath Road with a lunch stop at RAF Cosford en-route with time to explore this wonderful attraction and obtain lunch, depart Cosford at 13.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.
Saturday
Today we visit magnificent Windsor Castle, the oldest and largest occupied castle in the world, explore the home of royalty to uncover 1,000 years of history. Wander gilded staterooms housing magnificent treasures, pay a visit to St Georges Chapel in the castle grounds, a beautiful example of Gothic architecture, in the chapel are the tombs of 11 monarchs including Queen Elizabeth II, George VI, Henry VIII and Charles I. Today we also enjoy free time in Windsor.
Sunday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading home we visit Kensington Palace, home to young royals for over 300 years and the current London residence of TRH The Prince and Princess of Wales and their children. Walk in the footsteps of royals as you journey through King's and Queen's State Apartments, learn the story of Princess Victoria, the young girl destined to be queen in the rooms where she was born and raised, with a little free time to explore the affluent area of Kensington or take a leisurely stroll in the park. Re-join the coach at 15.00hrs to continue our journey home.
