This stylish hotel is situated in Mickleover Village, on the outskirts of the city of Derby, at the edge of the Peak District National Park. At leisure in Mickleover with the following included excursions:
Full day excursion to the Derwent Valley which was the
first place where steam was used to power mill machinery, starting a revolution in milling. It is now a World Heritage Site. Later proceed to Matlock Bath (short break) before continuing to the National Tramway Museum in Crich where a tram ride is included.
Full day excursion. We travel to the delightful market town of Bakewell. After lunch we visit Chatsworth House (admission included) home to the Duke of Devonshire since 1552.
Full day excursion commencing with a guided tour by land train of the National Memorial Arboretum, later travel to Lichfield for an afternoon visit.
