The small town of Vianden has a picturesque location on the banks of the River Our, set amidst magnificent Luxembourg scenery, close to the border with Germany. Vianden houses many great buildings including a feudal manor, a former Trinitarian church and cloister and a rural art museum.

An intimate 3 star hotel with a good location in pretty Vianden. The hotel has a cosy bar, restaurant and terrace and the enthusiastic proprietors are on hand to ensure that everyone has an enjoyable stay. The lift serves 3 of the hotel’s 4 floors.
Depart Leyland 1200 for the journey to Hull and our overnight ferry crossing to Zeebrugge with P&O
Ferries. Accommodation is in 2 berth sea view cabins with shower and toilet. Dinner is taken on board.
Breakfast on board ship. Re-join our coach for the journey via Belgium to Luxembourg.
Half day guided tour of Vianden. Later continue to the Bernard Massard Caves in the Luxembourg town of Grevenmacher, where they produce over 4 million bottles of wine annually, for a guided tour and 3 times wine tasting.
A full day excursion to Luxembourg city including a half day guided tour followed by time at leisure.
Sights include Luxembourg Castle Ruins, the Grand Ducal Palace and the Cathedral of Notre-Dame.
An excursion to Trier for a guided tour. The oldest city in Germany, once the regional Roman capital, it offers a host of well preserved reminders of bygone days with its amphitheatre and thermal baths.
Check out of our hotel following breakfast. We travel through Belgium to Brugge (break) before
continuing to Zeebrugge and our ferry for the return sailing to Hull. Accommodation is in 2 berth sea view cabins with shower and toilet. Dinner is taken on board.
Breakfast on board ship before re-joining our coach for the return journey to Leyland arriving midday.
