Itinerary:

Friday
Depart Leyland at 14.00hs for our journey to Hull to board the overnight ferry to Rotterdam, enjoy dinner, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to your cabin.

Saturday
Arrive in Rotterdam refreshed, enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking. Re-join the coach to continue our journey to the overnight hotel in Metz, France with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm welcome and glass of fruit juice while your case is taken to your room. Tonight, we enjoy a 3-course set evening meal at the hotel.


Sunday
Following breakfast check out of our overnight hotel as we continue our journey to Achenkirk in Austria with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm Tyrolean welcome as your bags are taken to your room. This evening, we have a set 3-course dinner followed by a welcome schnaps.

Monday
Today we enjoy a day of leisure to explore the area and relax at the hotel. Make use of the included Achensee Hop-on Hop-off boat ticket to admire the lovely mountain and lake views. Perhaps go hiking or horse riding on one of the many trails or visit the Sixenhof Museum to learn of local history, just a short walk from the hotel. If you're feeling very energetic you could walk all around the lake, approx. 15miles or head up the mountain to enjoy breathtaking scenery on the Christlum lifts in Achenkirk, the choice is yours.

Tuesday
Today's excursion takes us back to a bygone era as we experience a wonderful, scenic steam train journey, marvel at the peaks and jagged rocks of the magnificent panorama as we travel the 32km from Jenbach to the lovely resort of Mayrhofen. On arrival in the Tyrolean resort take time to explore and have lunch before re-joining the coach for the journey back to the hotel.

Wednesday
This morning's excursions takes us to the capital of the Tyrol, Innsbruck with time to explore and have lunch before re-tracing our steps for a visit to the magnificent fairytale Tratzberg Castle, journey to and from the castle through the castle forest on the little train, enjoy a guided tour to learn the history of the castle, first mentioned in documents dating from the 13th century, after falling into ruin it was loving re-built by the Fugger family and is now a classic example of 16th century Tyrolean castles.

Thursday
This morning's excursion takes us over the German border on a Bavarian voyage of discovery as the entire panorama of the Tegernesee Valley opens up to be discovered, an area of pretty villages, wooded hills and lush meadows. Fall in love with the blue/green shimmering lake of Lake Tegernesee, nestled in the very heart of the magnificent Bavarian Alps. Set sail with us on the lake, what could be more beautiful and peaceful. Take a round trip on one of the distinctive Tegernesee boats, sit back and relax on the deck as the sun shimmers on the deep waters, enjoy the picturesque views of the shoreline and beautiful mountain backdrop.




Friday
Following breakfast check out of our Tyrolean home and bid a fond farewell to our Austrian hosts as we begin our journey back to our overnight hotel in Metz, France with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a welcome glass of juice while our bags are taken to our rooms. Tonight, we enjoy a 3-course set evening meal at the hotel.

Saturday
Check out of our overnight hotel following breakfast for our journey to Rotterdam to board the overnight ferry back to Hull enjoy dinner, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to your cabin.

Sunday
Arrive in Hull refreshed and enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking, re-join the coach to continue to=he las leg of the journey home.

please be advised that a certain level of mobility is required on this holiday for it to be enjoyable as although not too strenuous a certain fitness level for walking is needed, you will also need to be able to board ferries, boats and trains independently.
