The highlight of our tour is to experience the thrill of watching Andre Rieu perform in his hometown, Maastricht, on the beautifully romantic and iconic Vrijthof Square. Together with his 60-piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, wonderful soloist and special guest appearances, André Rieu will conduct and play his world-famous Stradivarius violin to create an exciting colourful concert full of surprises, with a repertoire ranging from romantic, emotional ballads to the most gorgeous and celebrated of waltzes. Itinerary:
Tuesday
Depart Leyland at 14.00hrs as we head to Hull to board the overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Enjoy dinner, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to you cabin for the evening.
Wednesday
Awake refreshed in Rotterdam and enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking and re-joining the coach, before continuing our journey to Valkenburg we enjoy a few hours exploring Delft with time to obtain lunch, depart Delft at 12.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel in Valkenburg, our home for the next two nights. Arrive to a warm welcome and relax before our evening meal.
Thursday
Today is free to explore the picturesque town of Valkenburg, perhaps enjoy visiting its mines, caves and museums or the romantic hilltop ruins of Valkenburg Castle. Head back to the hotel to relax and enjoy an early evening meal before joining the coach for our short journey to Maastricht for tonight's wonderful performance of Andre Rieu in the romantic and historic Vrijthof Square.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading back to the ferry we take a scenic drive into Germany and Belgium, to complete our three countries corner. Visit Aachen (Germany) the historic city with over 2000 years of history where the main attraction is the cathedral, the first UNESCO World Heritage Site, with time to explore. Continue our scenic journey through the stunning scenery of the Eiffel Mountains to arrive at the picturesque village of Monschau (Germany) famous for its half-timbered buildings and cobbled streets overlooked by a medieval castle with a little time to explore, continuing our journey into Belgium, visit the hidden Flemish gem Mechelen home to the iconic St Rumbold's Cathedral, wander pretty streets lined with quaint churches and Baroque facades. Perhaps visit the Kazerne Dossin Memorial Museum. On arrival at Rotterdam Port, board the overnight ferry to Hull, enjoy a meal, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to you cabin for the evening.
Saturday
Arrive in Hull refreshed and enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking. Re-join the coach for our return journey home.

it is advisable to take an overnight bag for the ferries, please include any medication and essentials including passport/travel documents that you will need for your crossing.
Please note that the Andre Rieu concert is outdoor, please dress appropriately as it could get chilly at night, no umbrellas permitted and bags no larger than A4 size. Glass bottles, plastic bottles, and cans are not permitted. Feel free to bring a cushion for added comfort while you are seated.
