Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 11.00hrs with a lunch stop en-route in Skipton with time to explore and obtain lunch, depart Skipton at 14.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm Yorkshire welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Monday
At leisure in Harrogate, perhaps treat yourself to an afternoon tea in one of the wonderful tea rooms, shop until you drop, take a stroll through the park or just enjoy exploring the beautiful Victorian Spa Town and admiring the magnificent architecture, today the choice is yours.
Tuesday
Take a scenic drive through the Yorkshire Dales National Park with a stop in rural market town of Hawes in Wensleydale, today is market day, brows stalls, perhaps sample some of the towns famous cheese, visit traditional shops and eateries with time to obtain lunch before heading back through the stunning scenery of the Yorkshire Dales.
Wednesday
Today our excursion takes us to the historic town of Richmond standing proud at the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales National Park, one of Britain's most beautiful and vibrant market towns complete with iconic castle, sweeping cobbled marketplace and riverside vistas, explore individual shops, make a pit-stop in one of the tempting eateries and perhaps visit some of the exciting cultural and heritage attractions this wonderful town has to offer before returning to Harrogate mid-afternoon.
Thursday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop en-route in Grassington the beating heart of the Yorkshire Dales and fictional home to Darrowby in the new series of All Creatures Great and Small, depart Grassington at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
