Itinerary:
Thursday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Huntingdon with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome drink with cake or mince pie while your case is taken to your room. This evening enjoy dinner followed by entertainment.
Friday (New Years Eve)
Today following breakfast join the coach for a visit to Stamford with time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 13.00hrs, return to the hotel to join our host for this afternoon's entertainment programme. This evening put on your glad rags and dancing shoes and join us for a Gala Dinner followed by dancing until late and a glass of fizz at midnight to bid farewell to 2027 and welcome in 2028.
Saturday (New Years Day)
This morning following a leisurely start our excursion takes us on a scenic journey of the Fens with a stop in Ely, perhaps take the Riverside Walk, a picturesque half-mile stroll along the Great Ouse to blow away the cobwebs or visit the 'Ship of the Fens'; magnificent Ely Cathedral, return to the hotel at 13.30hrs for time to relax, join in the afternoon entertainment or perhaps take a dip in the hotel pool. This evening, we enjoy dinner and a 'Last Night of the Proms' style concert with dancing until late.
Sunday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast, bid farewell to our host and make our journey home, with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
