Itinerary:

Thursday
Depart Leyland at 14.00hrs for our journey to Hull to board the early evening overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Once onboard enjoy dinner, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to your cabin.

Friday
Arrive in Rotterdam refreshed and enjoy breakfast before disembarking. Re-join the coach, before heading to the hotel we visit the picturesque compact city of Delft, famous for its pottery, charming canals and historic facades, with time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.

Saturday
Following a leisurely start today's excursion takes us to 's-Hertogenbosch or Den Bosch to the locals, one of the oldest medieval cities in the Netherlands and the capital of Brabant. The historic centre is busting with charm, perhaps visit the iconic sights of St John's Cathedral, the fortifications or the picturesque Binnendieze river and canal system where you can join a boat trip and sail under the city. Relax and soak up the Den Bosch culture in the Korte Putstraat, a popular location with cosy cafes and chic restaurants to suit every palate and pocket. Today the choice is yours, enjoy time to explore and obtain lunch. Depart at 16.00hrs to return to the hotel.

Sunday
Today is Parade Day! Following breakfast today's excursion takes us to the picturesque town of Zundert to soak up the festival atmosphere and see the huge masterpieces from our grandstand seating, marvel at the dazzling floral floats, full of hand-made creations of glorious dahlia blooms, created and built by volunteers from twenty surrounding hamlets, each participating in the magnificent Bloemencorso. Experience these magical events and join in the festivities, with music and street performers to enjoy, local bars and restaurants join in the fun too with special activities and special offers all adding to the festival atmosphere.

Monday
Driver day off - today we enjoy a day of leisure to relax, soak up and explore the natural beauty of this wonderful area. Perhaps hire a bike from reception or head out on one of the hiking trails this beautiful area offers, why not enjoy the natural beauty of the forest at Wandelbos de Putten that is just a mile away.

Tuesday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before we board this evening's overnight ferry, Say Cheese! Take a scenic journey to the picturesque town of Woerden the first of the Netherlands cheese cities that we will visit today. Woerden is the historic capital of the Green Heart of the Netherlands, a fortified city with a Roman history, discover museums, windmills and mills, cheese shops and market, allowing time to explore with time for lunch, before continuing our cheese journey to Gouda, the Netherlands city of cheese with much more than cheese to offer, discover the beautiful historic city, visit the central square with iconic town hall and marvel at the beautiful stained-glass of Sint-Jans church, visit cheese shops or watch the world go by from a pavement café. Re-join the coach to continue our journey to Rotterdam Port to board the overnight ferry back to Hull. Once onboard enjoy dinner, entertainment and shopping onboard before retiring to your cabin.


Wednesday
Arrive in Rotterdam refreshed and enjoy breakfast onboard before disembarking. Re-join the coach to continue our journey home.
