Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Bonnie Scotland with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Join the Scotrail train at Crianlarich station for the journey to Oban. The line takes us through the Pass of Brander and alongside loch Etive. On arrival enjoy free time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps wander to the harbour to enjoy the views before boarding the train back to Crianlarich.
Wednesday
Today's journey takes us along Glen Dochart to Killin where the Falls of Dochart rush through the village. From here continue our journey along Loch Tay to Aberfeldy where we take a stop to enable you time to have lunch. This afternopon we head South along the Sma' Glen to Crieff with a visit to the Glenturret Distillery, makers of Famous Grouse, enjoy a tour and a wee dram before our return journey takes us along Loch Earn and Glen Ogle to Crianlarich.
Thursday
This morning take a scenic journey over the rugged and breathtaking beauty of Rannoch Moor to discover stories of fueding clans and the infamous massacre on a visit to the magnificent Glencoe Visitor Centre with time to explore before continuing our scenic journey north alongside the banks of Loch Linnie and Loch Leven to Fort William, the outdoor capital of the UK with time to explore and obtain lunch, in the afternoon journey along the banks of Loch Crenan and Loch Etive to discover one of the hidden wonders of the Highlands on a visit to Ben Cruachan Visitor Centre with a cream tea included in their wonderful cafe overlooking Loch Awe.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
