Our short break includes visits to Melton Mowbray the regional ‘Food Capital’ of Leicestershire, home to award winning pork pies and Stilton Cheese and Ely, the quintessentially English Jewel that rises magnificently above the Cambridgeshire Fens.

Itinerary:
Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Huntingdon with a lunch stop in Melton Mowbray en-route. Rejoin the coach at 14.30hrs to continue our journey to the hotel. Receive a warm welcome on arrival while your bag is taken to your room. Relax before dinner or perhaps take a dip in the pool.
Saturday
Today our excursion takes us to the university city of Cambridge. Join our guide for a tour of Cambridge ending with a visit to the beautiful, tranquil American Cemetery. Followed by free time in the city to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps visit one of the colleges, take a stroll by the River Cam or a punt on the river, visit the free Fitzwilliam Museum or Kettles Yard one of the country's finest galleries, with lots of parks and open spaces to explore Cambridge has something for everyone. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs for the return journey to the hotel.
Sunday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before we head home today's excursion takes us to Ely, the pocket gem city, take time to explore, perhaps visit the cathedral known as the 'Ship of the Fens' or Oliver Cromwell's House, allowing time to obtain lunch before re-joining the coach at 13.30hrs to continue our journey home.
