Did you know there was a St Ives in Cambridgeshire? Journey through delightful Cambridgeshire countryside to visit this delightful gem nestled in a picturesque riverside setting with ancient quay. Rising above the Cambridgeshire Fens we visit Ely, this pocket-sized city packs in a great deal from historic attractions, independent shops and a wonderful foodie scene. Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to the 4-star Cambridge Belfry with a lunch stop in Lichfield Staffordshire en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday
Morning visit to Audley End House and Gardens followed by the afternoon in Cambridge.
Visit to Imperial War Museum, Duxford, returning to the hotel mid-afternoon allowing you time to relax and perhaps take a dip in the pool.
Morning visit to St Ives, Cambridgeshire allowing time to explore and have lunch, followed by the afternoon in Ely.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our journey home with a lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route departing at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home.
