Itinerary:
Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.30am for our journey to Kent with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at Bridgewood Manor to a warm welcome with tea/coffee while your case is taken to your room. Why not take a dip in the swimming pool before joining us for dinner.
Saturday
This morning's excursion takes us to the historic city of Canterbury. Enjoy time at leisure to browse the city in all its festive glory, perhaps visit the Christmas Market or the magnificent cathedral, and find somewhere lovely and cosy for lunch. This afternoon we visit Leeds Castle all decorated for the festive season. Be transported through 900 years of the castle's history in a wonderful mix of period architecture, impressive interiors and family treasures. As darkness descends a spectacular light trail lights up the night sky in the grounds of the castle. Discover sparkling chandeliers suspended in trees, a laser garden, a path of mirrored hearts and the Feast of Light. Indulge in a seasonal snack or drink that can be obtained from hand-picked street food vendors along the way.
Sunday
This morning, we head into Edenbridge to experience Christmas at Hever Castle. Explore the grounds, witness enchanting reimaginations of classic tales on the Christmas Trail and experience the magic of Christmas past within the castle itself as it welcomes the festive season. Visit the Yew Maze, Garden Exhibition and Military Museum on site too.
