Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Plymouth with a suitable lunch stop en-route
Tuesday
Join us on a long but worthwhile day to the world-famous Eden Project. This unique regeneration project has transformed a scar on the landscape into a wonderful global garden featuring two enormous glass biomes and forever evolving. Even if you've been before you can be sure to see something different this time.
Wednesday
Spend a leisurely day in Plymouth, Britain's Ocean City, take advantage of the great shopping opportunities and wonderful foodie scene, in addition uncover hundreds of years of history including Sir Francis Drake and the Spanish Armada, the Mayflower sailing in 1620 and the rebuilding of the city following the Blitz in World War II. Enjoy time in Plymouth Hoe. The Barbican and Sutton Harbour with quaint cobbled streets. With embarkation from the Barbican Landing Stage at 2pm, we include a delightful boat trip with commentary detailing the history and heritage of the stunning Plymouth Coastline.
Thursday
Following breakfast join us on a journey to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, amazingly re-discovered in 1991 under a blanket of brambles following years of neglect. Many of the original plants have been rescued turning this once forgotten garden into England's finest garden restoration, a lasting reminder to those lost. Enjoy an afternoon visit to Mevagissey, one of Cornwall's most picturesque and historic fishing villages with stunning twin harbour.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
