Itinerary
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 08:00am for our journey north to Cairnryan in Scotland to board the Stena Line ferry to Belfast. On arrival in Belfast, re-join the coach as we travel to our overnight hotel in arriving in time for our evening meal.
Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast as we continue our journey eastwards to Co. Donegal with a stop in Donegal Town allowing time to explore and for lunch before heading to the Great Northern Hotel in Bundoran, our base for the next four nights. Arrive to a warn Irish welcome with tea/coffee while your luggage is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today we have a guided tour of the breath-taking, majestic Slieve League Cliffs with their incredible views of the Atlantic Ocean, experience the magic of Irelands highest sea cliffs while hearing about local history, with return shuttle bus to and from the cliffs. In the afternoon we visit Glencolmcille Folk Village, a wonderful living museum in a breath-taking location, an initiative of a Donegal Priest, Father James McDyer to help with unemployment the museum still a much-loved community concern.
Wednesday
Today is a day of leisure to enjoy the area. relax and enjoy the leisure facilities.
Thursday
This morning we visit Belleek Pottery with guided tour to hear of the story of its many products made over a 165-year history. Following our visit head into Donegal where there will be time to obtain lunch before we enjoy a 75minute cruise of Donegal Bay around the seven Green Islands with many points of interest along the way .
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, head to Belfast for a little free time before we board the afternoon ferry back to Cairnryan in Scotland to continue our journey home.
