Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Peebles with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Barony Castle Hotel to a warm Scottish welcome with tea/coffee while you case is taken to your room.
Monday
Following a leisurely morning of free time to relax, explore the hotel grounds or take the opportunity to use the hotel's leisure facilities, join the coach at 14.00hrs. Travel into Edinburgh where you will have time to explore, soak up the festive atmosphere and obtain a late lunch or evening meal before heading to the castle for the wonderful, thrilling highlight of our holiday. Join in the pomp and ceremony at the spectacular evening performance of the Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Important Note: Please be advised that there will be a short walk from the designated coach parking area or following your free time in the city to the Tattoo venue, which may involve an uphill and cobbled approach to the Esplanade.

Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast, head into nearby Peebles for some free time to explore and obtain lunch, enjoy stunning scenery, shops and cafes in this artsy town along the River Tweed before departing at 13.00hrs to continue our journey home.
