Journey to explore the Jurassic Coast gem Sidmouth, a picturesque coastal town with a Regency feel and royal connections and Teignmouth, a pretty town lined with Georgian buildings and long sandy beaches. Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 09.00hrs for our journey to Torquay with a suitable lunch stop en-route. On arrival our coach will receive a personal welcome from the hotel, your cases will be taken to your room.
Monday - Thursday
Enjoy two full days of leisure time in the resort to relax and explore with the following excursions during your stay:
Today's excursion takes us along the English Riviera to the vibrant colourful harbour town of Brixham with time to explore and obtain lunch. Perhaps book a boat trip, or visit the Golden Hind replica, maybe sample freshly caught seafood in one of the lovely cafes and restaurants, take a stroll to the Berry Head Nature Reserve or wild swim in the tidal Shoalstone Seawater Pool, the choice is yours. Re-join the coach at 15.00hrs for our return to the hotel.
Journey to the Jurassic Coasts hidden gem Sidmouth with time to explore and obtain lunch. Sidmouth is a town caught in a timeless charm that has been winning hearts for generations. Perhaps take a stroll along the beach or promenade, sit with a delicious Devon Cream Tea and simply watch the world go by or browse local boutiques. For history lovers there are town trails and museums to enjoy our time here will allow time to explore and obtain lunch. On the way back to the hotel we visit Teignmouth a stunning coastal town of Georgian buildings and long sandy beaches.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast and bid farewell to our hosts. Commence our journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
