Itinerary:

Monday
Depart Leyland at 12.00hrs for our journey to Hull to board the overnight ferry to Rotterdam. Once settled, we have an evening meal onboard before retiring to our cabins for the evening. (We suggest an overnight bag for the ferry and perhaps your first two nights in Berlin (as there is no porterage at the Wyndham Garden Hotel), ensure you have all your essentials, medication etc.).

Tuesday
Following breakfast disembark in Rotterdam and re-join the coach to begin our European Imperial Cities adventure, first stop Berlin our home for the next two nights. En-route to Berlin Mitte enjoy a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive at the Wyndham Garden Hotel with time to relax before our evening meal.

Wednesday
Today we enjoy a Historic City Cruise, sit back, relax and view major sights of Berlin along the River Spree. The rest of the day is yours to explore

Thursday
Check out of our Berlin Hotel following breakfast, journey through Germany and Poland to the second stop of our adventure, Krakow. Arrive at our central Krakow hotel the Wyspianski to a warm Polish welcome while your case is taken to your room with time to relax before our evening meal.

Friday
On today's excursion we experience a full day visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau, the concentration camp operated by Nazi Germany in occupied Poland during WWII (now a memorial and museum). Learn about the history of the Holocaust, the tragic story of millions of victims and Hitler's Nazi terror against European Nations, we deliberately allow a full day for this moving and poignant excursion to give everyone the time they need. The 3.5-hour tour will be with a local English-speaking guide. Please note that Auschwitz can be a difficult place to visit for some people due to the events which took place there during WWII.

Saturday
Today begins with a fun and informative city sightseeing tour by electric golf cart. Experience the ultimate Krakow adventure to discover Krakow's highlights and hidden gems. The rest of the day is free for you to explore, perhaps visit Oskar Schindler's Factory, a poignant museum commemorating the Holocaust and Schindler's efforts to save 1,200 Jewish people or visit the galleries and quirky shops of Krakow's Jewish Quarter.

Sunday
Following breakfast, we continue our journey through Poland into the Czech Republic with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Our third stop on our adventure is Prague where we stay at the beautiful Art Nouveau Palace Hotel our home for the next three nights. Arrive to a warm welcome with tea/coffee on arrival while your case is taken to your room with time to relax or explore before our evening meal.

Monday
Today we enjoy a guided walking tour of Prague, step into history and uncover Prague's secrets, discover famous sights and quirky hidden gems on this 4-hour tour. Walk in the footsteps of Czech kings and queens on a visit St Vitus Cathedral, part of the largest castle complex in the world. Admire wonderful architecture, beautiful stained-glass windows and the tomb of St Wenceslas, the most important Czech patron saint. The rest of the day is yours at leisure.

Tuesday
Free day in Prague to relax, explore and soak up the cultural atmosphere. Perhaps see Prague from a different perspective and take a sightseeing cruise, you can combine your ticket with the Hop on Hop Off Bus a great way to see the city, or amble across Charles Bridge to dine al fresco and watch the world go by with a Czech beer, if shopping's your thing head to Wenceslas Square for shopping to cover every taste or just wander Prague's narrow winging streets to take in the magnificent architecture, today the choice is yours.

(We suggest an overnight bag for the final hotel and the overnight ferry (as there is no porterage at the H+ Hotel Hannover), ensure you have all your essentials, medication etc.).

Wednesday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast as our journey takes us back into Germany to our final hotel in Hannover with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm welcome with time to relax before our evening meal.

Thursday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, today we head to the port for our return overnight sailing from Rotterdam back to Hull, travel through Germany into the Netherlands with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Board the 20.30hrs overnight ferry to Hull, (make sure you have an overnight bag with all your essentials). We have dinner onboard this evening before you retire to your cabins for the night.

Friday
Following breakfast onboard disembark and re-join the coach in Hull, continue our journey home.
