Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Falmouth with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Today is a day of leisure to explore the delights of Falmouth or relax at the hotel, perhaps take the opportunity to book a spa treatment or take a dip in the pool. Stroll along bustling cobbled streets and visit Falmouth's charming mix of shops and art galleries or visit the National Maritime Museum, the choice is yours.
Wednesday
Today we travel via Marazion for some fine views of St Michaels Mount before arriving in Penzance, a gem of a portside town with a long sweeping promenade, enjoy time to explore and obtain lunch, perhaps browse creative independent shops, discover galleries filled with fisherfolk portraits and maritime scenes, try a Cornish pasty or partake in a cream tea, walk Chapel Street filled with fascinating historic buildings or visit the iconic inn the Admiral Benbow one of the oldest drinking establishments in Penzance before re-joining the coach. This afternoon we travel to picturesque St Ives, one of the most quaint and attractive towns in Cornwall. Its golden sandy beach, pretty harbour, narrow cobbled streets and colourful granite cottages earn it the reputation of being an artist's paradise.
Thursday
This morning, we visit the bustling city of Truro with its flowing rivers, picturesque streets, 18th and 19th century townhouses and a magnificent cathedral that dominates the city, allowing time to explore and obtain lunch. This afternoon we visit surfers' paradise Newquay offering breathtaking views of Cornwall's Atlantic Coast, the town boasts some of Cornwall's finest beaches and offers a laid-back charm, allowing time to explore and take in the sea air, perhaps visit the Blue Reef Aquarium, walk the coastal path or make a pit stop at the Atlantic View Café in the centre of Newquay.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
