Itinerary:
Sunday
Depart Leyland at 10.00hrs for our journey to Durham with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Receive a warm welcome as we arrive in Durham for an early check-in at 15.00hrs, perhaps enjoy a riverside stroll or cross the bridge into the heart of the city before our evening meal this evening at the hotel.
Monday
Following breakfast join the coach for today's excursion to Beamish Open Air Museum, travel the site on complimentary vintage bus and tram journeys to enjoy the festivities.
Tuesday
Following breakfast join the coach for today's excursion to Raby Castle, without doubt one of the most impressive intact castles in the North of England. Built in the 14th century by the powerful Neville family. Christmastime is a wonderful and magical time to visit as you wander through beautiful rooms decorated for the festive season, in the grounds see if you can spot the deer.
Wednesday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading home we enjoy a few hours to enjoy our host city Durham, allowing time to obtain lunch. Depart Durham at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
