Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to the 4-star Peebles Hydro with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Arrive to a warm Scottish welcome with mince pies and mulled wine on arrival with time to relax and perhaps use the leisure facilities before our evening meal.
Tuesday - Thursday
Enjoy a free day at the hotel to relax and experience the activities on offer at the hotel.
Excursion included to Edinburgh, experience the magical winter wonder of the Scottish capital as its transformed for the festive season, explore the Christmas market, shop until you drop on Princes Street. There aren't many cities in the world where the wonderful shopping thoroughfare boasts an uninterrupted view of an ancient castle, but Edinburgh's Princes Street does just that, the magical view is even more special at this time of year. Boasting an array of outstanding and award-winning restaurants, cafes and bars, eating out in Edinburgh is a culinary delight. Depart Edinburgh at 16.00hrs to return to the hotel.
Morning visit to our host town; historic Peebles, a gorgeous Border town on the River Tweed surrounded by stunning scenery, shops and cafes, allowing time to explore and obtain lunch before returning to the hotel for an afternoon of relaxation, perhaps use the leisure facilities or wrap up and enjoy a wonderful winter walk.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast to bid farewell to our wonderful hosts as we head for home, with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
