On our excursions visit elegant Grange over Sands offering magnificent views over Morecambe Bay from the Cartmel Peninsular. Explore the traditional coastal market with over 200 stalls in Fleetwood. Journey along the Fylde Coast to experience wonderful café culture and boutique shopping in the leafy seaside town of Lytham and head to the southern Gateway of the Lakes to visit the historic market town of Kendal.

Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland 11.00hrs for our journey to Blackpool, spend free time exploring the fun capital of the North with time to obtain lunch before re-joining the coach at 15.00hrs, head to check in at the Doric where you'll receive a warm welcome with tea/coffee and biscuits while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
This morning, we head along the Fylde Coast to visit award winning Fleetwood Market, this busy traditional coastal market offers a great seaside shopping experience with over 200 stalls across 3 indoor heated halls and a selection of outdoor stalls, a true shoppers paradise. Return to the hotel for a light lunch. The rest of the day is free to relax at the hotel or use your tram pass to explore Blackpool and along this stretch of the Fylde Coast
Wednesday
Following breakfast enjoy a free morning in the resort, returning to the hotel for a light lunch. This afternoon our attraction takes us to the Cartmel Peninsular to visit the elegant town of Grange Over Sands cradled between hills and sea, known for its accessible long promenade and stunning views over the Fylde Coast's Morecambe Bay.
Thursday
Following a leisurely breakfast enjoy a free morning in Blackpool, resort attractions are easy to reach with your complimentary tram pass or just relax at the hotel and enjoy the facilities, returning to the hotel for a light lunch. This afternoon our excursion takes us along the coast to Lytham, sit back and relax in the towns wonderful array of cafes and stylish bars, perhaps go boutique shopping, wander elegant parks and gardens, take a stroll along the front to the windmill or visit the restored pier.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following a leisurely breakfast, departing at 10.30hrs, before heading home we visit Kendal, the Southern Gateway to the Lake District with time to explore the market town and obtain lunch. Depart Kendal at 15.30hrs to continue our journey home.

| About the hotel | Situated on Queen’s Promenade the Doric has fantastic views over the Irish Sea. Guests have free use of the hotel’s extensive leisure facilities. The Doric’s heated outdoor pool is open in the summer, with a large sunbathing patio, there is also an indoor pool area, with a sauna, plunge pool and steam room. Enjoy nightly entertainment or relaxing in the lounge and bar area, a great place to meet up with friends old and new.
