Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to the Langstone Quays Resort on Hayling Island with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday
Today enjoys a leisurely start, join the coach at 10.30hrs to journey through beautiful Hampshire countryside into the New Forest National Park, an area of ancient woodland, stunning views and idyllic villages to our destination, Beaulieu, the magnificent stately home surrounded by picturesque gardens that houses the National Motor Museum, visit the Palace House, 13th Century Abbey and wonderful exhibitions, take rides around the site by the much loved monorail and veteran bus, with gift shop and café onsite there's something for everyone. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs to return to the hotel.
Wednesday
Full day visit to The Great Waterfront City Portsmouth, discover exciting Naval attractions with an Ultimate Explorer ticket as we go beyond the oceans surface on a visit to Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard, step onboard HMS Victory, uncover 500 years of history at the Marie Rose, an amazing time capsule and discover wonders and worlds beneath the waves. Re-join the coach at 16.00hrs to return to the hotel.
Thursday
Today's excursion takes us on a visit to Bosham, a small attractive village on Chichester Harbour, once inhabited by Romans, this is where legend has it that the Danish King Canute sat in a chair, surrounded by his courtiers and demanded the waves to go back, needless to say he got his feet wet. Continue our journey to walk in the footsteps of Romans as you explore historic, compact Chichester, neatly enclosed within city walls with broad streets housing wonderful architecture, listed buildings and a magnificent cathedral. Re-join the coach at 14.00hrs to return to the hotel to relax with an opportunity to use the wonderful leisure facilities or explore the surrounding area and its wildlife
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
