Itinerary:
Friday
Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to St Annes Manor with a lunch stop in Royal Leamington Spa en-route, departing at 14.00hrs to continue our journey to the hotel, arrive to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Saturday
This morning following a leisurely start with time to relax and perhaps have a swim join the coach at 10.30hrs for a journey through rolling Surrey Countryside to the county town of Guildford with magnificent cathedral and cobbled High Street, allowing time to explore and obtain lunch. In the afternoon we visit Denbies Vineyard where we enjoy a 50-minute Vineyard Tour by train with commentary provided onboard, accompanied by a delicious glass of Denbies Sparking Wine.
Sunday
This morning following a leisurely start with time to relax and perhaps have a swim join the coach at 10.30hrs, our first stop of the day is Richmond-upon-Thames, perhaps take a stroll along the river or relax on Richmond Green, London's largest town centre open space, browse shops or enjoy a drink and a bite to eat. This afternoon we visit Henry VIII's magnificent royal place Hampton Court, acquired by hm in 1520, discover a wonderful collection of furnishings and art, beautiful architecture and magnificent 60-acre formal gardens including the iconic maze.
Monday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home, before we do visit the stunning university city of Oxford, the 'City of Dreaming Spires', perhaps visit one of its wonderful museums and art galleries, colleges and chapel or the wonderful hidden gem Oxford Covered Market where over 50 independent shops, cafes and bars come together to offer a wonderful experience under one historic roof, 250 years in the making. Depart Oxford at 14.00hrs to continue our journey home.
