Itinerary
Monday
Depart Leyland at 10.00am for our journey to Harrogate with a lunch stop in the vibrant, historic town of Otley en-route.
Tuesday
A day of leisure to relax and enjoy our host townm the elegant Victorian Spa town of Harrogate.
Wednesday
Morning visit to the historic town of Ripon allowing time to obtain lunch, in the afternoon journey to the North Yorkshire Moors, with a visit to Helmsley Walled Garden with free time in picturesque Helmsley afterwards.
Thursday
Todays excursion takes us to magnificent Newby Hall, our visit will include a guided tour of the house which is one of Britain's finest Adam Houses with an exceptional example of the finest 18th century interior decoration. The rest of the day is yours to enjoy the vibrant spring blooms as you wander the included award-winning 25-acre gardens with permanent Dollshouse and Teddy Bear exhibitions at the gardens heart. Newby Hall has a wonderful shop and plant nursery, and the Garden Restaurant should you wish to dine. You can also take boat trips and enjoy a journey on the miniature railway at Newby Hall (please note these can't be pre-booked, cost is not included in admission). IMPORTANT NOTE - this is an attraction change to what is printed in the brochure (changed 17/04/2025).

Check out of our hotel following breakfast for our return journey home with a lunch stop in Skipton on market day.
