Depart Leyland at 08.30hrs for our journey to the 4-star Delta by Marriott Heathrow-Windsor with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Tuesday - Thursday
Over the next 3 days we explore the capital and its much-loved city sights.
Enjoy a morning of leisure in London to explore.
Sit back and relax on a river cruise from Westminster Pier, this delightful 90-minute cruise heads west long the River Thames to Kew Gardens where we enjoy an afternoon to experience the beauty of the world-famous botanic gardens.
Visit iconic landmarks of England's capital. Enjoy a fascinating guided tour which takes you on a historic journey of St Paul's Cathedral, renowned for its magnificent dome. This wonderful landmark is built on the highest point in the city of London and was completed by Sir Christopher Wren in the 18th century. Walk in the footsteps of royalty at Buckingham Palace through magnificent State Rooms, lavishly furnished with some of the greatest treasures from the Royal Collection. Explore the Palace of Westminster and step inside some of its most iconic spaces on a guided tour, including the House of Commons, the House of Lords and the oldest building in the Houses of Parliament, Westminster Hall. Follow in the footsteps of famous Prime Ministers and politicians as you take in the remarkable architecture and historic artworks of this extraordinary building. Check out of our hotel following breakfast, before heading home visit Windsor, perhaps pre-book a visit to Windsor Castle, explore Windsor Great Park or wander the cobbled streets of this charming town, with time to explore and obtain lunch. Re-join the coach at 13.30hrs to continue our journey home.
