Monday
Depart Leyland at 09.30hrs for our journey to Chesford Grange with a lunch stop in the historic cathedral city of Lichfield enroute with time to explore and obtain lunch, departing at 14.30hrs continue our journey to the hotel where you'll receive a warm welcome while you case is taken to your room.
Tuesday - Thursday
Enjoy an excursion to the medieval town of Warwick, steeped in history with plenty to discover in the bustling historic streets. Includes a visit to magnificent Warwick Castle 1,100 years in the making, uncover tales of treachery and torture, passion and power. The ultimate Warwickshire experience where history is brought to life like nowhere else.
Today following a morning of leisure to relax at the hotel we head to nearby Kenilworth to visit the beautiful Elizabethan Gardens with the magnificent backdrop of the romantic ruins of Kenilworth Castle. Lost to the world for 400 years you can now walk in the footsteps of a great Tudor queen through the beautifully re-created Elizabethan Garden, wander fragrant pathways filled with magnificent vibrant blooms and admire the mighty keep the heart of castle life for 500 years. Perhaps visit the Stables Tearooms within the beautiful timber-framed stables building complete with interactive exhibition bringing 900years of history to life.
Today's excursion takes into nearby Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds to visit Sudeley Castle and Gardens, a Tudor jewel with 1,000 years of history and wonderful formal gardens. Return to the hotel through the Cotswolds via Stow-on-the-Wold and Shipton-on-Stour.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast for the return journey home with a visit and lunch stop at the National Memorial Arboretum en-route, take time to explore this beautiful, peaceful place allowing time for lunch. Depart at 14.30hrs to continue our journey home
