Itinerary:
Monday
Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Cairnryan in Scotland with a suitable lunch stop en-route. Board the ferry to Belfast, arrive at the hotel to a warm welcome while your case is taken to your room.
Tuesday
Today's journey takes us along the banks of the Stangford Lough to visit New-Classic Mount Stewart House and Gardens, following our visit board the Stranford Ferry for the short journey to Strangford, travel back to the hotel via the Strangford and Lecale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty via Comber.
Wednesday
Today our guide joins us onboard the coach for a scenic Antrim Coast and Giant's Causeway tour. Take the stunning coastal route, via the small fishing town of Carnlough, to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Giant's Causeway. Explore the fascinating basalt stone columns left by volcanic eruptions 60 million years ago or, as legend would have it, the stepping stones of the giant Finn McCool! The state-of-the-art visitor centre offers an enhanced visitor experience.
Thursday
Today's excursion takes us to Banbridge, the principle film studios and largest indoor visitor attraction in Ireland where we enter the world of Game of Thrones. Enjoy a studio tour to uncover secrets of the ground-breaking special effects, costume designs, and iconic props, a real treat for any fans of the fantasy drama series centred on noble families in the fictional Seven Kingdoms of Westeros battling for the control of the Iron Throne.
Friday
Check out of our hotel following breakfast, enjoy free time in Belfast with time to obtain lunch before travelling to Belfast Port for our return sailing to Cairnryan. Disembark in Cairnryan to continue our journey home.
