Depart Leyland at 08.00hrs for our journey to Sidmouth with a suitable lunch stop en-route.
Saturday - Monday
Free time in Sidmouth with the following excursion:
Today's excursion takes us to the wonderful historic city of Exeter, enjoy free time to explore, allowing time for lunch, before we return to the hotel for free time in Sidmouth.
Free morning in Sidmouth allowing time for lunch, in the afternoon meet the coach back at the hotel for an afternoon journey to the heart of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site to visit the seaside town of Seaton, enjoy free time exploring, perhaps take a journey on the heritage Seaton Tramway or take a stroll along the front with beach views overlooking Lyme Bay, or visit Seaton's Wetland Nature Reserve, with shops and cafes along the way. It's a pleasant place to spend an afternoon on the Jurassic Coast.
Today we travel through the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to Exmouth where we take a leisurely River Exe Cruise, the best way to see the stunning scenery, nature and wildlife of the Exe Estuary with a visit the World of Country Life Museum in Exmouth. A magical trip of days gone by, take a stroll down Memory Lane, the museums Victorian street complete with thatched cottage, there's a farming museum and a vintage vehicle museum to discover, why not take a deer train safari to feed the deer from the land-train, don't forget to take time out for a cuppa or a cake in Farmer Lee's.
